Curtis Johnson, Owner / Personal Trainer

Curtis finds great satisfaction in getting different personality types to reach that one common goal of healthy living! Curtis began as a Personal Training Assistant at a post rehab facility in New Orleans, LA. He then attained his first Personal Training Certification with AFAA in 2004. He has a multitude of knowledge within the fitness realm such as: post rehab, core, plyo training, speed and endurance, functional training, pre and post natal, weight lifting and sports specific training. Curtis understands that he is a walking testament of a healthy and fit lifestyle. During his free time he enjoys short distance running (5k-10k), playing basketball, flag football, boxing, listening to music, politics and volunteering with various youth based organizations.

John Herrera Personal Trainer

John Herrera, Owner / Personal Trainer

A very personable trainer, he has been in the fitness industry for 9 years. John graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. He is also a NASM Certified personal trainer and is CPR/First Aid Certified. He specializes in strength training, weight loss and nutritional counseling. Outside interest include: Soccer, football, traveling, camping, hiking and live music

John Needem, Fitness Coach

John grew up overweight and living a sedentary lifestyle. By the time he graduated from college he was at an unhealthy weight and had hypertension. It was then I decided to get serious about my own fitness goals have truly had a passion for fitness and wellness. John has been a trainer since 2006. John has specialized in group exercise since 2008, starting with fitness bootcamps. In 2010 he started teaching cycling classes as well. His enthusiasm for training is evident in my classes. As a full-time elementary P.E. teacher, John enjoys working with children. It is another passion of his to mold and teach students how to be their best self. John enjoys spending his free time doing anything fitness related such as cross fit, strength training and running.

Tika Gray, Fitness Coach

Tika began her career as a fitness enthusiast when she was a young girl playing basketball for 8 years. After basketball, she maintained her fitness levels throughout college by frequently being in the gym. Being naturally athletic, it was always Tikas goal to continue continue with her fitness aspirations every year and challeng herself through strength and endurance training. Finally, Tika decided to continue her success by becoming certified and helping others reach their fitness goals. It is during this time, Tika learned the basics of being a great trainer and assisting clients in remaining consistent, being persistent in pushing themselves, and patiently reaching their goals. Tikas main focus is functional and strength training, while progressing clienst through the workouts and teaching them better ways to utilize the gym.

Gabby Ivanov, Yoga Instructor 

Gabby was born in Houston, Tx. In 2017 her love for adventure and travel landed her in the tropical jungle of Panama where she acquired her 200 hr Vinyasa Flow RYT certification through Big Power Yoga. Additionally, she has 2 years of experience and continues teaching Kids Yoga at her home studio. She has personally been a student of practice since 2014 and her active lifestyle stretches far beyond asanas. She's been a Zumba instructor since 2015 and has been dancing since she was 8. She loves to rock climb and trail run when she's not and is always eager to learn more in order to benefit her students.
